Englisch als Arbeitssprache (EAA)

In the course of the redesign of our school logo, the EAA logos were also successfully revised by our media group MEK led by Florian Plasch, who we owe great thanks to. There are now four different logo variants at disposal, whose fonts and colours blue and red originate from the new school line, but also appear in the national flags of the most relevant English-speaking countries and can be used alternatively according to purpose:

  • Tower Bridge in London: aspect of unification and bridging gaps
  • Statue of Liberty in New York: symbol of various cultures living together in freedom
  • Opera House in Sidney: symbol of cultural cooperation among different nations
  • CN Tower in Toronto: symbol for (online) networks of communication

EAA afternoon

On 2nd March, class 1gk had their 3rd EAA afternoon. Together with Mr. Duncan and Ms. Aigner they completed different activities where they needed a lot of creativity and an inventive mind. In a competition they had to build Marshmallow towers made out of spaghetti and tape – you can see the winning teams with their towers in the pictures.
