A wonderful trip to Dublin

The new semester started with an exciting adventure for 6ck: a trip to Ireland. The programme included a lot of sightseeing in the city of Dublin, a walking tour and visits to museums, which told the students about what it means to be Irish. At a sports stadium students found out about Irish sports, such as Gaelic football and hurling. The trip also offered a visit to Glendalough, a tranquil monastic site, as well as a cliffwalk along the sea and visit to a medieval castle. The weather was okay, even if a bit cool, but we all warmed up when drinking hot chocolate and dancing to Irish music. Of course, we all tried “fish and chips“ and tasted typical Irish food.
